Also the group was recognizable at a distance with the “I’ve been Tango” orange hoodies sponsored by our very own Hart roofing. Followed by Dancing, drinking and the 2p fruit machines.

Saturday started well with the sun shining and the keen energetic group off to the Park run at Burham on Sea, for other a lie in was in order. During the day the group entertained themselves on the awesome Bream sands, swimming in packs including with the under nines or visiting the theme park, Wokey hole or nearby castle. Also the coaches had a meeting which involved watching the rugby and keeping topped up on liquids. The evening fancy dress was awesome with a marauding selection of costumes however the best fancy dress costume went to Valerie and Ed as Obelix and Astrics.

Sunday cars packed and boys raring to go including a mention on BBC2 Radio. The Viking horns caused a technical hitch with Thelma and Louise as they raced to the venue but unfortunately they got stuck on raising the roof and oops the boy’s kit was in the boot which was firmly closed. On arriving at the Hornets RFC Astroturf rugby grounds confusion reign as no refers had been assign and our long suffering Ade had to step into the breach even with his leg muscles reminding him of yesterday park run. The second challenge was identifying which pitch was which a bit of Sudoku was required.
