Banbury Warriors v Farringdon - Final Score 1/1

This was a close game, some great tackles had by the boys and after a great tackle by Oscar sadly resulted in an injury to the nail being pulled back. Defending well it was unlucky Farringdon went on to score a try.
In the second half after some hard tackling and great team work Luke went on to score the try.
This was a well matched game.

Banbury Vikings v Shipston - Final Score 3/2

Tries by Bailey 1, Leo 1 and Jake 1

Just arrived and straight on the pitch, good tackling but slow progress going up the pitch. After a "Wake up Banbury" by Ben things started to improve. Great power shown by Bailey resulted in a try. This lead to some wonderful shipping of the ball finishing with Leo who went onto to score the second try. Next try by Shipston followed by a fast try by Jake. Last try of the match scored by Shipston. A great game demonstrating some strong and powerful running by Banbury.

Some brilliant tackling had by Scott and Luke Wilson showing some great strength and some strong ripping from Luke Alexander. Shipston were also strong and quick scoring a couple of tries charging straight through the middle. A great pick up from Ollie passed onto Noah and then back to Ollie, after some confusion happening but not to Ollie who charged on to score a try. Straight after Shipston quickly scored another try. Noah took a tough tackle throwing him hard to the ground he came off and was replaced by Finley who went on to a great tackle preventing another try.

Banbury Vikings v Oxford Harlequins - Final Score 1/2

Some big players in the opposition team shadowing over Banbury but this didn't stop some fantastic tackles by Bailey and Edward. A try was had by Oxford follows straight after by a try for Banbury from Bailey. Straight into the second half Oxford scored a try. Leo had two great runs with the ball but getting pushed into touch. Good strength shown by Bailey. Tough game against a good team. (Afterwards Ben announced he was getting a sore throat! One thinks he may have been shouting a bit in that game!)

Banbury Warriors v Grove - Final Score 9/0

Tries by Noah 6, Kai 1, Harry 1 and Ollie 1

After a 40 minute break the boys returned to the pitch on top form with a very early try by Noah, some fantastic tackling by Ollie and Kai and shipping the ball to Noah to gain another try, followed by a couple more tries by Harry and Noah. Some good passing and team work shown by all a great pass from Ollie to Kai scoring yet another try. Great strength shown by the two Luke's and Finley bringing the oppositions down, Finley getting a ball out of the ruck and a quick pass onto Noah to get another try. Followed by a great pass from Finley to Noah for the final try. Great game and the boys came off buzzing and very proud of their selves, as they should some great team work had been displayed.

Banbury Vikings v Grove - Final Score 8/0

Tries by Bailey 3, Leo 1, Jack 2 and Jake 2

Shirts inside out for this game. A try was quickly had by Bailey. Grove were in play with the ball and it was well stopped by Jake who had great body positioning and ripped the ball away passing on to Bailey for another try. Nathan did a wonderful knock out of the hand of the opposition and Leo being quick enough to catch the ball and score a try from it. Some outstanding rucking down and great ripping of the ball by the team getting more tries by Jake and Jack. Jake got hurt after a 'tip tackle' taking him off and being replaced by Edward. The second half the team just got stronger with some great push through by the boys and displaying such strength and gaining more tries by Jack, Pressure was certainly showing on the oppositions coach who was screaming at his team. Fantastic game.

As soon as game started the team work well together Oscar did a great pass to Ollie who then past to Luke Wilson who scored a try. There were some great tackles by Finley, Kai and Ollie who went on to a very quick run to get a try. A great ripped by Noah goes onto score another try. A good tackle by Scott who was push to touch. Finley taken down presents the ball to Kai who ships to Ollie onto Noah then onto Luke W then back to Noah to score a wonderful try. The team played enthusiastically showing great strength, team work and tackling, a great game to finish their tournament.

Quick start to tries in this game first 30 seconds the ball was shipped from Bailey to Kieran to Jack for a try, 20 seconds later Henley scored their try. Some great team work shown by Charlie, Marcus, Jack and Kieran resulting in Kieran receiving a high tackle, a quick pep talk by ref to Kieran play was back on and
