After an extremely wet morning the coaches decided to go ahead with rugby training albeit with expected low numbers . But we were left in disbelief when we ended up with 26 children attending. Although some did seem more keen than others, especially James who would have probably enjoyed his birthday morning opening presents instead of getting cold and wet.
We had a few warm up drills then got into some matches amongst ourselves to keep everyone moving, the children switched on to the match environment and the newer kids started picking things up very quickly as a result the sun finally came out and we even played on longer than we expected too.
Overall it turned into a good training session and the kicking competition at the end went down well with the winning team performing the Fortnite "taking the L " dance.
With some great performances the coaches picked the team of the week and the Captain of the week who takes home the trophy to show off.
So well done this week to
Teddie, Harris, Darragh, Morgan and Caleb (Team Captain)
