Welcome to October's edition of In Touch with up-to-date information on events at the Club during our Centenary season.

1. On the Pitch
All of the Club’s playing sides have made encouraging starts to the season. The Bulls are currently in fourth place in the League having won 3 of their five league matches. The ‘2s’ and ‘3s’ have also been in action in their new leagues and are well placed, fourth and second respectively. The Colts have made a promising start with two wins and two losses, one of each in League and Cup competitions. Our Youth section continues to thrive, and Sunday mornings are as busy as ever with enjoyment across the Age Groups within both our Mini and Junior sections. It was wonderful to witness the Belles' recent victory and great news for the Club that our women’s rugby team seem to be moving from strength to strength. Our fully inclusive community Club is also offering regular sessions for Touch Rugby, Walking Rugby and SEND Rugby enthusiasts. I would like to record my own personal “thank you” to all the volunteers who continue to work hard ‘behind the scenes’ to enable all of this to happen, and to all the players across all sections for their dedication and commitment - well done everybody!

2. Club Shop & Merchandise
The shop has been gearing up for winter season. We have new training kit lines in stock, active t-shirts, midlayers, contact tops, hoodies and jackets, all available both in the shop and online. We also have a more comprehensive selection of Opro mouth guards, just in. The Centenary Merchandise range now has a much bigger selection of jumpers, softshells and waterproof jackets as well as some cute baby/toddler jackets. Come down and try for size, the shop is open for every 1st XV home game as well as most Sundays. We will also be opening one evening a week throughout November for 'Christmas Shopping', with some special festive season gifts arriving soon. For full details of all our Club Merchandise and shop opening times keep checking the Centenary Pages on the website: /banbury-rufc-centenary-season
