What a fab start to the season the new Under 9s had on Sunday. The sun was shining ☀️ and all 27 of the children took to learning contact like a duck takes to water ?

The coaches started the day with some warm up exercises and a run round the pitch. With a quick water stop it was straight in to learning the basics. All the children listened to what the coaches told them and then they were straight in to it. For those that were a little unsure 2 of the coaches gave the children a demonstration of what they were meant to do!

We were very lucky last season to be given a donation from a local company that one of our coaches work for towards some new kit, so the coaches invested in some new tackle pads just for the Under 9s which went down very well with all the children.

The children learnt the drills so well that the coaches decided to let them have a mini game towards the end of the session. They all done amazing and the coaches were very pleased with them.
